Going to church doesn’t make you a Christian. But being a Christian should make you want to go to church.

Not out of obligation.
Not out of tradition.
Not to be seen or checked off on a list.

But out of love.
Love for God.
Love for His Word.
Love for His people.

When your heart is truly transformed, you don’t avoid His presence—you hunger for it. You long to worship, to grow, to be corrected, encouraged, and strengthened alongside other believers. The church isn’t a building you visit; it’s a family you belong to.

Faith isn’t proven by attendance, but a living faith will naturally seek fellowship, worship, and community. Because when Jesus changes your heart, He also changes your desires. 🤍🙏🏻

What a fun night of food, fellowship and games! We had sausage popper boats, homemade chicken salad on homemade bread, potato salad, cheese dip, chips, sandwich skewers, brownies, s'mores dump cake, and cranberry cookies. Becky Richardson whipped us all in several games of Rummikub. A few of us played a little ping pong and basketball. Looking forward to the next one! If you missed it, you missed out!

Our missionaries to central Mexico, Darrain & Mari Coker, were with us today. Darrain presented a video showing of all the work they're doing in spreading the gospel and the future plans they have for their church. Mari spoke to the women's class about how their ministry started and how they reach the people from kids to the elderly. They have started a Bible club that meets regularly and that is generating interest with all ages. They've been in this location 14 years and our church has been a supporter for that time as well. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit and had 10 guests, along with a great lunch provided by our members.
