6th & 7th Grade – Mifgash with Nesher 🇮🇱

Our 6th and 7th graders had their final mifgash of the year with our friends in Nesher, Israel.

Through writing and drawing, the students shared their thoughts about Israel, their understanding, and their wishes for their Nesher friends. It was a meaningful moment of connection, reflection, and friendship across the distance.

This partnership has been such a special part of our year, helping our students feel connected to Israel in a real and personal way.

A special thank you to Miss Gayle and Miss Valerie for guiding and supporting our students through this beautiful experience. 💙

Stronger Together – ביחד

On May 1st, our 3rd through 7th graders led a beautiful and meaningful service centered around the theme Stronger Together- B’yachad.

The children led the congregation through prayer, filling the Sanctuary with their voices through song and unity. It was very special to witness their growth and the way they came together as one community.

This special moment captures the lighting of the Shabbat candles, where the teachers and mothers stood together, modeling strength, connection, and tradition for our children.

We are so proud of our students for leading with such strength, joy, and connection 💙

4th Grade Yom Ha’atzmaut Exploration 🇮🇱🍊

Before getting hands-on in the kitchen, our 4th graders began their celebration by learning about kibbutzim—what they are and how people live and work together in these unique Israeli communities.

The students explored ideas of cooperation, shared responsibility, and community life, building a deeper understanding of Israeli culture.

They then brought their learning to life by making fresh orange juice, connecting their experience to the agricultural roots and daily life found on a kibbutz.
