Our mission team is home!

As we finished our final day in Boston, we had the opportunity to hand out more granola bars, invite people to Kings Hill Church, and have many more conversations throughout the city. We don't know what God will do with every conversation, but we know His Word never returns void. We are thankful for the many seeds that were planted throughout the week and trust the Lord to continue working in hearts after we've returned home.

One of the greatest things God did this week wasn't just through us, but in us. Our eyes were opened to the spiritual lostness that exists all around us. While Boston has its unique challenges, the reality is that people who need Christ are everywhere.

We came home with a greater courage and passion to live on mission right here in Thomas County. The mission field isn't only hundreds of miles away. It's all around us. We pray that what God taught us this week will continue to shape the way we love people, share the gospel, and point others to Jesus every day.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us throughout this trip. We are grateful for your support, and we're excited to see how God continues to work in Boston, at home, and in our church.

We’ve had a full and encouraging first few days in Boston!

We’ve had the opportunity to explore the city, prayer walk through different neighborhoods, attend Kings Hill Church’s Wednesday night Bible study, and hear the stories of how God has brought many of their members to Boston from all over the world. It has been a great reminder that God is at work here.

We’ve also handed out hundreds of granola bars along with invitation cards for Kings Hill Church and spent time doing spiritual surveys throughout the city.

Those conversations have been some of the most impactful parts of the week. We’ve talked with people from many different backgrounds and beliefs, including Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, and others. One thing that stood out was how many people told us they had never really been asked what they believe happens after we die. Some believed in reincarnation. Others simply hoped there was some kind of afterlife. Some believed death is the end and we just cease to exist.

It was great listening to their stories, asking questions, and being able to share the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. Please continue praying that the seeds planted through these conversations will bear fruit and that God will continue to open doors for the gospel throughout the rest of our week.

Our mission team has landed in Boston. Please pray for our team throughout this week. Pray that God would give us strength, wisdom, and opportunities to share the love of Christ. Most of all, pray that He would be glorified and that lives would be impacted through the ministry ahead.
