What a wonderful and busy weekend! 💙📚🍎

On Saturday, we had such a great time at the Back to School Bash, and on Sunday, we gathered together to pray over Cooleemee Elementary School, followed by a sweet time of fellowship at our ice cream social. 🍦🙏

We are so thankful for our church family, our community, and all of the teachers, staff, and families who pour into our children.

As our students head back to school, we pray they have an amazing first day and a wonderful school year! May God guide them, protect them, and help them shine His light wherever they go. ❤️

Tonight’s the night! Join us at First Baptist Church of Cooleemee for our “S’more of Jesus” Bonfire from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM!

Come enjoy a relaxing evening around the fire with our church family as we roast marshmallows, make delicious s’mores, and spend time together in Christian fellowship.

This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the amazing children and youth in our church, encourage one another, and simply enjoy an evening of laughter, conversation, and community.

🇺🇸❤️ Happy Independence Day from First Baptist Church Cooleemee! ❤️🇺🇸

Today, we are thankful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans and for the countless blessings God has poured out on our nation.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of American independence while also reflecting on 125 years of God’s faithfulness to First Baptist Church Cooleemee. For half of our nation’s history, our church family has been sharing the hope of Jesus Christ, serving our community, and pointing others to Him.

We were honored to participate in the Cooleemee Fourth of July Parade and are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside our neighbors and friends. Enjoy these photos from today’s festivities!

As we look back with gratitude and forward with hope, may we continue to be a light in our community for generations to come.

💙 What an Incredible Day of Celebration! 💙

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude after such a wonderful 125th Anniversary Celebration at First Baptist Church Cooleemee!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us—our church family, friends, neighbors, former members, and visitors. Your presence made this milestone even more meaningful. Seeing generations gather together, sharing food, fellowship, laughter, and memories was truly a blessing.

A special thank you goes to everyone who volunteered, prepared food, set up, cleaned up, donated their time, and worked behind the scenes. Your servant hearts made this event a tremendous success.

For 125 years, God has faithfully guided First Baptist Church Cooleemee, and we are excited to see what He has planned for the years ahead. We pray that our church will continue to be a place where lives are changed, families are strengthened, and the love of Christ shines brightly throughout our community.

Thank you, Cooleemee, for your continued love and support. We are blessed to serve such an amazing community!

🎉✨ VBS HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED! ✨🎉

What an AMAZING kickoff to our Illumination Station VBS at First Baptist Church Cooleemee! The kids had a blast today with foam, fun, laughter, and making new friends as we began our week of “Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is!” 💡❤️

📢 Good news — it’s not too late to join us!
