Don't forget - Saturday, May 16th @ 10:30 a.m. at Lone Star Baptist Church, Cookville, TX

We are excited to see old friends, familiar faces and some not so familiar. Join us as we celebrate the Lone Star Community in remembering our parents, grandparents, cousins, siblings, aunts, uncles, great grandparents, great-great grandparents. Please come and be a part of this annual gathering of Lone Star Community families from years past. Help us build a gathering of families who will return each year to remember our wonderful heritage in the Lone Star Community.

He had a smile for everyone" "Lived in the Lone Star Community about 25 year. Was employed as a Petroleum Engineer by the Humble Pipeline Company for 32 years. One Daughter Mrs. R.T. Ellis of Johnson City; 2 sisters - Mrs. Harry Miller of San Angelo and Mrs. Vernon Goodrich of Arlington. He was a Mason. Born in New Boston, Tx.

He was married to Ruby Smith Johnson (buried in Omaha Cemetery) in Texarkana, TX and they divorced in El Paso. Ruby Johnson is the mother of Betty Ann Johnson Morris."

If you cannot attend, remember our Annual Donation will be collected on the day of Decoration. You do not have to wait till then to contribute to the upkeep of the cemetery. I do hope to see everyone on Decoration Day, May 16th, Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
