The attached picture is an example of one of the SCAM messages a member received. Even if they include your name, it is a SCAM.

Good morning, friends!

Join us this morning, July 19, at 10:45 a.m. for worship at Christ Lutheran Church, Conyngham on the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost.

In this week's Gospel, Jesus tells the Parable of the Weeds among the Wheat. Through this story, we are reminded of God's patience, mercy, and promise that God is at work even when the world seems troubled and imperfect. We are called to trust in God's care and to remain faithful as we grow in faith.

Great News! The Witness and Service Team of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod approved our grant request for 5,000 dollars. Members of our congregation and others in the local community are looking forward to our April meal packaging event. (Probably held on Saturday April 17th). We plan to make a baseline 38,000 meals with a 40,000 meal stretch goal - dependant on fundraising totals. More info to follow in upcoming newsletters.
