Calvary Community Church - The Tabernacle Calvary Community Church-The Tabernacle Founded in 2005 by a handful of members who felt led to reach out to those who had been hurt in churches.

Pastor Tim Walden who had been ministering since 1983 and had pastured several churches felt the call of God to reach people with the true love of God. After meeting in a home for awhile , we moved to the Newborn Schoolhouse where we had services for several years and saw God begin to bring things together. After a time needing a better building Pastor Walden’s cousin who was a great preacher for

many years offered the family Tabernacle in the Magnet area of Rockdale county which was started by Rev Franklin Walden’s dad Sam Walden. The building was a tabernacle for camp meeting with sawdust floors and open sides. After several renovation the building now is a thriving church where the power of God is shown each week in powerful services to our Lord. God has met every need and provided us with a great building and we are currently working on a food bank and clothes closet which will be open to assist those who are hurting. Our motto is to give back as God has given to us…We are a spirit filled congregation where the love of God shows and flows to all that enter.

Celebration of Life Services for Deborah Smith(Angie Smiths sister) will be held Saturday July 20,2024 At Calvary Community Church/ The Tabernacle 120 Crowell Road Conyers Ga. Visitation from 1:00pm-2:00pm with services at 2:00pm. Meal served after service. Everyone come out and celebrate the wonderful life she lived and continues to live today in Heaven.

Hope everyone is having a blessed day. All members of Calvary Community Church I really need you all at service Sunday morning at 11:00 followed by lunch. If you haven’t been in a while come, if you are sick come. I have some things to say and would appreciate each of you to be there. God is blessing more than ever and as a Pastor I stand daily against the devil, spirits and evil that comes against you and I even when you don’t see it. I’ve stood this week and had to do something that I’ve never had to do in 43 years but your soul is precious to me and God and as a shepherd I will guard the flock. Thanks and love you all. Asking all my believers to join me in praying for church member John Martin who is currently in Piedmont Atlanta. Doctors say bypass but as we prayed I really felt God saying it gonna be ok. We are believing for a miracle. Doctors said they will wait 3 days to do other test but if I remember right in 3 days a miracle happened.

I’ve received some messages about where I stand on certain things and let me make it perfectly clear I love everyone regardless of who you are and anything else but I don’t change my opinion when it’s Bible based facts. It don’t change simply because we don’t agree with it. I love you, will fight for you, will help you but I will never compromise the Infallible Word Of God. God bless
