The Church at Meadowlake All for the glory of God! The Church at Meadowlake is a Christ-centered local church family committ We seek to honor God and reach out with his truth in love.

Our desire is to be a Christ-centered/gospel-saturated community of disciples who are growing in God's grace and shining his light. Join us on Sundays at 10:30 as we worship God through singing, sharing, praying, loving and hearing the Bible preached.

Read Mark 7:24-30.
Jesus is sought out by a Gentile woman, who is desperate for help. But he seems to push her away - and even insult her! What’s happening?
Do we have faith that can humble before God? Or do we get offended and give up?
Did Jesus come for the Jews or the Gentiles?
Pray up and get ready to unpack this passage together! Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in us as we gather in Jesus’ name!

Read Mark 7:14-23.
Jesus wants us to understand that there is a greater defilement than the ceremonial defilement of the old covenant law. Our hearts are defiled from within by our sin! And the religious ceremonies and laws cannot cleanse us from that sin! In Christ, everything is changing, all is being made new - He comes bringing the fulfillment of the ceremonies and laws; He comes bringing true cleansing for sinners through his own precious blood!
Pray for God to soften our hearts and open our eyes as we gather in worship!

The glory of Jesus Christ revealed as he walks on the sea! Mark continues to plead with us to consider - Who is this Man??
There are more Old Testament connections here as well. All of God’s word points us to Jesus.
Have you seen how glorious He truly is? How should you respond?
Pray for the Lord himself to be present in the gathering of his people, and to show us his glory!
