This week in The Inside Scoop, we dove into the incredible story of Jesus walking on water from John 6:19-20. The disciples found themselves in the middle of a storm, scared and unsure of what would happen next. Just when they felt overwhelmed, Jesus came to them walking on the water and reminded them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here!”⛈️

We learned that storms aren’t always rain and wind—sometimes storms look like hard days, big feelings, disappointments, or things that make us nervous. No matter what storm we face, we can trust that Jesus is with us through it all. When life feels scary or uncertain, we don’t have to be afraid because Jesus never leaves our side.

Welcome to Week 1 of “The Inside Scoop”!🍦

This week, we dove into the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. Through the generosity of one little boy, Jesus performed an incredible miracle and fed the entire crowd! We learned that Jesus still works miracles every day, and that we can trust Him with everything we have — even our lunch!🐟🥖

This week was our LAST week of “The Choice Is Yours” and what an incredible series it has been! This weekend, we learned that we can stand firm for God even in the middle of fear, pain, or problems. We looked at the story of David and Goliath and saw how David’s unwavering faith in the Lord gave him courage to face something that seemed impossible.👏🏽

Throughout this series, we’ve learned that our choices matter and that choosing God’s way impacts our lives in BIG ways! We are so proud of all the ways your kiddos have been growing in their faith and learning to make wise, Godly choices.

We are so excited for what’s coming next, so stay tuned for our brand new series!!! ✨

This week in “The Choice Is Yours,” we dove into the book of Peter!

We learned that we are called to be bold in our faith and courageous in sharing the Gospel with others. Peter’s story reminds us that God can use ordinary people in extraordinary ways when they trust Him and stand strong in what they believe.

This week, we challenged the kids to take one bold step in their faith — whether that’s praying for someone, inviting a friend to church, or simply showing the love of Jesus in their everyday lives!

Week 5 of “The Choice Is Yours”! This week, we dove into the story of Ruth and Naomi. Through their story, we learned that loving people well during hard seasons is what God calls us to do. After experiencing heartbreaking loss, Ruth had the opportunity to leave and start a new life on her own, but she chose to stay by Naomi’s side because it was the right thing to do. Ruth showed incredible faithfulness, kindness, and obedience, and the Lord blessed her abundantly because of it!
This week, we challenged the kids to do one hard thing to love someone well!

Week 4 of “The Choice Is Yours”!

This week, we jumped into the story of David and King Saul. David had a big moment where he could have hurt Saul—but instead, he chose the hard right thing and showed honor.🤴

We reminded the kids that even when it’s tough, we can choose to respect and honor others, just like David did!

Week 3 of “The Choice is Yours”! This week, we dove into the story of Simon, who later became Peter! Simon Peter was a fisherman, and one day Jesus stepped into his boat and gave him instructions. Peter chose to listen, and because of his obedience, the Lord blessed him with so many fish that the boat could hardly hold them all!🐟

Then Jesus invited Peter to leave behind his old way of life and step into something greater—to become a fisher of men. After experiencing the goodness and power of Jesus, Peter wanted to share that same good news with others!📰

This week, we challenged the kids to share the Gospel with one person and let others know about the love of Jesus!💛

Week 2 of “The Choice Is Yours”!

This week, we dove into the moment when the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, where He was tempted by the devil. Even in the hardest moments, Jesus didn’t give in—He fought back using God’s Word and stood firm through prayer.

Through this story, we were reminded just how powerful it is to hide Scripture in our hearts. When we know God’s Word, we’re ready to stand strong and make the right choice, even when it’s tough!
