This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the women who hold families together, carry burdens quietly, pray faithfully, love deeply, and keep showing up even when nobody sees it.

Whether you’re a mom, missing your mom, hoping to become a mom, or simply thankful for the women who helped shape your life… we’d love to have you with us this Sunday at Seacoast Church.

Some of us are exhausted because we’ve slowly taken responsibility for things God never asked us to carry.

Other people’s opinions.
Future outcomes.
Every possible scenario.
Everyone else’s emotional state.
Trying to hold together things that were never fully in our control to begin with.

Jesus never operated that way.

In John 5:19, Jesus said He only did what He saw the Father doing. There’s freedom in that. He wasn’t frantic. He wasn’t crushed by pressure. He wasn’t trying to force outcomes. He stayed connected to the Father and walked in obedience one step at a time.

A lot of anxiety comes from misplaced responsibility.

There’s a difference between being responsible to people and feeling responsible for everything.

You can love deeply without carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
