This week, take some time to really pray into what it means to be “the salt of the earth”, not in theory, but in your actual conversations, choices, and relationships. Ask Jesus to show you where you’ve been blending in instead of bringing flavor, where your words need to heal instead of harm, and where He’s calling you to step out of the shaker and into courageous obedience. I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to guide your time with Him. Use it for yourself, and pass it along to someone who needs the reminder that their life is meant to make a difference.

So thankful for the college students from Spartanburg. We spent this evening praying for our city and its people.

This week’s message isn’t meant to stay in the room on Sunday; it’s meant to shape your Monday. Jesus already called you the salt of the earth—that’s your identity, not extra credit. So don’t blend in. When others compromise, stay faithful. When conversations turn toxic, season your words with grace and truth. When it feels safer to stay quiet, courageously step out in love and obedience. I’m attaching a SERMON CARD as a simple, practical reminder—and to share with someone who needs it.

If you’re in a wilderness season, don’t just rush past this message. Pray it in. Take time this week to bring God your questions, your frustration, and your “I thought life would look different by now.” Ask Him, “Lord, what are You forming in me here? What step of obedience are You calling me to today?” I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to help guide those conversations with God and for you to share with someone else who feels stuck but not forgotten.

Some of you are walking through a wilderness season right now—not a quick storm, but a long, slow stretch that feels stuck. In that place, it’s easy to believe the lie that you’re forgotten or that this detour defines you. It doesn’t. In Christ, the wilderness is not wasted; it’s where God is shaping who you’re becoming. This week, don’t just ask, “When will this end?” Ask, “Lord, what faithful ‘yes’ are You calling me to today?” I’m attaching a SERMON CARD to guide your next steps and to share with someone else who might feel stuck in their own wilderness.

This week, don’t just think about grief, pray your way through it. Take Psalm 13 and turn it into your honest conversation with God. Tell Him where it still hurts. Name the empty chair, the unanswered questions, the long nights. Then, like David, dare to add, “But I have trusted, and I will sing.” I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to guide you. Use it in your quiet time, at the kitchen table, or with a friend who’s hurting. Don’t just hear this word; pray it, live it, and share it with someone who needs to know that God is still writing their story.

This week, don’t just hear Psalm 13, practice it. When the empty chair feels loud, when the questions won’t quit, choose to take your real grief to a real God. Talk to Him honestly. Pray David’s words out loud. Refuse the lie that your tears cancel your faith or that this chapter is the whole story. This week, fight back by faith and dare to say, “But I have trusted so I will sing to the Lord.” I’m attaching a Sermon Card to help you walk this out and to put hope in someone else’s hands this week.

This week, don’t just think about shame, pray through it. Get alone with God and bring Him the real story, not the edited version. Tell Him where you’ve been hiding, what you’ve been covering, and what you’ve been excusing. Ask Him to help you believe He is near, still calling, and willing to cover you in Christ instead of leaving you in fig leaves and fear. I’m attaching a PRAYER CARD to help guide those conversations with the Lord this week—use it honestly, then pass it on to someone else who needs the same invitation out of hiding and into healing.
