We started our day with this passage in mind given to us by David Smith. We had a long hot bus ride yesterday. The ac quit working but we kept trucking. We had an early start this morning. With that David knew we would be challenged by our attitudes and actions throughout the day. Tiredness did not get the best of us. The Lord showed us both literally and figuratively what reward awaits when we renew our minds and redirect our attitudes to find this beautiful waterfall. A physical example of taking your time, though we cannot see what’s ahead trusting that God has goodness in, through and at the end of trying times.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

No children were harmed during the taking of these photos. First day of fun included tubing and hiking up to a beautiful waterfall! So much fun that it knocked out a couple of our ministers. 🤪 Check back later for more pictures and maybe a couple of videos!

Over the weekend we attended Christeens in Russelville, AR. The theme was Perspective. Our teens really grasped onto different aspects of the messages we heard on perspective. We praise God for His plan which is always greater than our own.
