Heritage Baptist Church

Heritage Baptist Church "For His Glory, Through the Ages." Established in Conway, South Carolina. We value our family integrated services as we worship and learn together.

At Heritage Baptist Church we look forward to welcoming you into our Christ-centered community. Our prayer and practice is a weekly exposition of God’s word while “equipping the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ…” (Ephesians 4:12). Heritage Baptist Church is committed to one-on-one discipleship, training up the next generation, and equipping God’s people for

all of life. This is a responsibility and blessing that we find joy in carrying out. On Sunday mornings at 10 am, we look forward to gathering together with you and your family for a time of reverent worship. You can expect an introduction of reading from the Old and New Testaments, intentional prayer, and recitation of a creed, followed by a sermon from God’s Word. We begin and end all services with a hymn of praise.

He writes, “Dear Heart, press on; let not husband, let not anything cool thy affections for Christ.” He goes on to encourage her love for her husband by exhorting her to look to the image of God that is in him, as this will aid her love.
In Letter #11, Cromwell writes to his daughter-in-law, Dorothy Cromwell, as if to his own daughter. He says, “I do entirely love you.” and “I desire you both [she and her husband] to make it above all things your business to seek the Lord…” showing how, in practice, he loved his daughter-in-law as his own daughter.
The second highlight was how Cromwell derived great comfort from his covenant theology. Cromwell’s final words often mentioned the “covenant.” This is also seen in Letters #19 & #25, both of which were written to his son-in-law, Charles Fleetwood…”

Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Oliver Cromwell (1599 – 1658) was a man who did great things in the name of His great God. Cromwell is known by most for his great leadership in the E

There was great fellowship this morning at the HBC Men’s Breakfast. We were exhorted to think about how we ought to live as men of God in this world while knowing that our citizenship is in heaven.
