A healthy Church doesn’t just gather for services.

It opens doors.
Welcomes people in.
Learns names.
Shares meals.
Builds trust.
Creates space for conversations that actually matter.

Before there was ever a stage, there was fellowship.

And maybe that’s part of the Greater Things God is restoring again.

Never treat people like interruptions.

The person standing in front of you may be carrying a story you know nothing about.
Pain you can’t see.
Questions they’ve never said out loud.
A calling they’re still trying to understand.

Sometimes the Kingdom moves forward one conversation at a time.

The early Church didn’t survive because they had better buildings.

They survived because they refused to carry burdens alone.

They prayed together.
Wept together.
Fasted together.
Believed together.

There is still something holy about circles of people desperate enough to seek God with their whole hearts.

Real ministry is rarely glamorous.

It looks like people staying after everyone else leaves.
Gathering in circles.
Carrying burdens together.
Praying until something breaks loose.

This generation does not need more polished Christianity.

It needs shepherds.
Fathers.
Mothers.
People filled with enough compassion to stop and fight for someone else in prayer.

There is something powerful about experienced hands reaching toward younger shoulders and saying:

“You don’t have to walk this road alone.”

That’s how faith survives.
That’s how legacy is built.

Building Bridges Across Southeast Asia

We are grateful for the ministry of Rod Reid, EFI's International Director for Southeast Asia, as he continues to build relationships and strengthen leaders throughout Thailand and the surrounding region.

This gathering represents more than a group photo—it reflects lives connected through fellowship, encouragement, discipleship, and a shared commitment to advancing the Gospel. As pastors, leaders, families, and young people come together, new bridges are formed that create opportunities for ministry and lasting Kingdom impact.

At EFI, we believe that some of the greatest things God accomplishes happen through meaningful relationships. Through Rod's leadership and the faithful work of local believers, churches are being strengthened, leaders are being equipped, and communities are being reached with the hope of Christ.

And that’s a wrap on our latest training session.

This time we welcomed 29 adults and an extra little person, making 30 altogether from our neighboring country to the north. Along with a handful of local people.

The sessions were wonderful, the students were so hungry to learn they barely allowed the teacher time to catch his breath.

They left with full bellies, full bags of clothes (we always keep donated clothes for them to go through) and hearts filled with God’s word and encouragement.

Thank you to our guest teacher, Pastor Rod Reid from South Carolina and thank you to all of our supporters who are praying for these trainings, for our students and for supporting us financially.

The Kingdom grows differently than the world does.

Slower sometimes.
Deeper always.
