2nd Jr/Sr High Session is all wrapped up and that also concludes summer camp sessions for Camp Areopagus! 7 beautiful souls gave their lives to Christ in baptism and began their journey of service in the Kingdom with us! The Holy Spirit was moving through the counselors in mighty ways this week as they all poured their souls into these 88 awesome kiddos! We want to take a moment to thank several congregations that hosted dinner meals and also our powerful guest speakers that delivered convicting evening sessions each night!
We are thrilleded to announce our two Campers of the Year Jill Blake & Prince Echo! Couldn’tt have been awarded to two more deserving and Christ-like young people!

The best week! We learned about the 7 “I Am statements”, made lots of friends, & ate lots of candy! It was truly such an uplifting week getting to see the love for God these children have. We are looking forward to next year!

Day 3! We had the best day learning about “I Am the true vine” & “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life.” These guys are making lifelong friendships!

Day 2! We learned that Jesus said “I am the light of the world & I am the resurrection and the life.” Our memory verse today was Proverbs 3:5-6! They are learning so much! Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Day 1 went by so fast! Today we learned that Jesus said “I am the bread of life, I am the door to the sheep, and I am the good shepherd.” 46 wonderful campers learning about God’s word & having fun!

This camp is completely BY the Church and FOR the work of the Church in all ways!

This summer will begin our push to make it known, VISUALLY, what work happens at this awesome place every year, specifically during summer camp sessions! We will have a videographer/photographer capturing special moments and activities that we will be putting out to spread the word of what God is doing at Areopagus and we pray that it helps our camp continue to get more area churches involved and grow the ministry beyond where it has ever been before!

This growth is only going to be possible through the TEAMWORK of the Board alongside the many congregations that pour into this place. Reach out if you would love to get involved in any way or give any amount and we will be sure to plug you into the mighty ministry of Camp Areopagus!

Be prayerful over the impact of this place on the hearts and lives of hundreds of campers that will be coming through in June!:)

We want this session to be full! We have had two campers notify us that they will not be able to attend. If you have attempted to register your child but could not because the session was full, please try again immediately.

T-shirts for the session will be ordered tomorrow. Campers registering after today may not receive a t-shirt.
