We are excited to be attending the FWB National Convention and V3 Conference in Columbus, Ohio!
To our pastors, coaches and parents I want to once again express my appreciation for investing in the lives of your students. Over the next couple of days you will be carrying costumes, props, instruments and more all over the Convention Center. Many of you will be rehearsing one last time before the exhibition begins. It is not in vain and you are all appreciated.
To our students we want you to know how proud we are of each and every one of you. You have worked so hard to get here and to showcase your many talents. Thank you for persevering. Know that we are praying for you and cheering for you!
Some of you will hear your names called Wednesday night and we will be cheering for you. Others will not hear your name called yet we are cheering for you too!
No matter the outcome of the competition here in Columbus, our churches are winning! May the rehearsals and hours of memorizing and reciting scripture, time spent creating your masterpiece of artwork be for so much more than a few days here in Columbus, Ohio! May these be done for a lifetime of service to our Great God who is worthy of all our praise!
P.S. I have been asked to try to get all of Arkansas to sit together on Wednesday night for the awards ceremony. I think that is a great idea.
