There were several (6?) videos that the Church has produced that work with this week's lesson. Instead of sharing them individually, Kandra Conary put them into a youtube playlist! These will be a great help in teaching the children in your life about these scriptures 🙂

Please share the following - let's get the word out.

Free Hurricane Relief Assistance is being provided by Mormon Helping Hands.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has many volunteers available to remove drywall, insulation, flooring, carpeting, furniture, appliances, tarp roofs, remove trees, assist with debris clean up, etc.

Our volunteers work for free of charge and provide the tools and equipment necessary to complete the work.

Sisters,
We need your help to organize the supplies being offloaded at our church building tomorrow for hurricane relief. I need 3 or 4 sisters who can be available "sometime" tomorrow. We do not know yet when the trucks are coming but there should be at least a couple of hours notice as they get closer. This will not require heavy lifting - just help to organize. Please let me know if you can assist us with this.

Sister Madeline Mercado passed away Saturday July 28th.

Her funeral services will be held this Saturday at 2 pm in the Myrtle Beach Chapel.

Brothers and Sisters,

On May 8th, the Conway Ward has been assigned to help clean the Columbia SC Temple. We are in need of 9 able-bodied adult members (both sisters and brothers) with current temple recommends to assist in this assignment. Volunteers should come to the temple 15 mins before 10 am (9:45 AM) in Sunday dress, and expect to work for approximately 2.5 hours. If you are willing and able to participate, please contact Pres. Mindy Parker (Sisters) or Pres. Jim Rodgerson (Brothers) by this Sunday, April 29th.

Sister Bobby Pearson is looking to rehome her cats permanently. She would like to extend her mission, but her fur babies need a new home. If you are interested in adopting two cats, let me know.

Our ward received the bread donations this week! Most of it is at the Conary’s house but there are frozen meals and a couple of huge mixed salad bags at the church in the refrigerator and freezer. They also have three sheet cakes sitting at their house. Kandra has said that you are welcome to come by their place to dig through what they have. If there are enough people she could meet at the building early before general conference too. Please contact Kandra Conary with questions.
