Our son, Bryce Roberts, has been nominated for Sound Engineer of the Year for the 2024 Arkansas Country Music Awards. This is his 7th nomination, which he has won twice. You can vote for Bryce by going to arkansasmusic.org/vote and scrolling down to #15. Voting ends on March 14.

Bryce received a Recording Engineering degree from Middle Tennessee State University after attending the University of Central Arkansas. He is currently a free-lance recording engineer in Nashville, after working at Quad Studios and The Tracking Room for several years.

During the ACMA nomination period, Bryce has recorded at least 110 songs in the Country, Americana, and Gospel genres. Most recordings are from independent artists, but also include well known artists such as Scotty McCreery, Chris Young, and the legendary Johnny Mathis. "Heard from Linda Johnston. Lee Morgans passed away today (Saturday, May 20). Betty was still in shock. He went into the hospital for dehydration. He was doing better. He moved into assisted living in Dec. due to heart problems. Sure do miss our Advent family!"

The Arkansas Country Music Awards will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the University of Central Arkansas Reynolds Performance Hall. Our son, Bryce, has been nominated for Sound Engineer of the Year. This is his sixth ACMA nomination, which he has won twice. Bryce is now a free-lance recording engineer in Nashville. During the last two years, Bryce has recorded music for well known country artists Chris Young, Chase Rice, Scotty McCreery, Mitchell Tenpenny, The Gatlin Brothers, and the legendary Johnny Mathis. He has also recorded independent artists including the Flat River Band, Charlie Marie, Taylor Rae and Jake Ybarra, among others.
