The Drake Everett Walker - Warm Coats 4 Cold Kids Coat Drive is Here!
November 1st - December 11th
In memory of Drake, let’s continue to press on, press in, and help those in need during the coldest, and most expensive months of the year. If you have a new or gently used coat that you’d like to donate, no matter the size or gender, I would love to gather it to donate to our local schools, orphans, homeless, women’s shelter, and men’s outreach program.
I also take donations to shop for coats if you would like that option. Please make the check out to The Drake Everett Walker Foundation. I can either pick up your donation or if you wish to send a check, you’re welcome to mail it to me, just inbox or text me for my new address and I will make sure to get coats on behalf of you for this cause.
As many of you know, this tradition is something that I started with my boys when they were young and I have continued in memory of Drake. I look so forward to this drive every year when you and I get to band together as friends, and bless so many children, teens, and adults with a free coat to help keep them warm during the winter season, who might otherwise go cold. The need is great, so let’s clean out all our closets and see what can go! If your local business would like to participate as a drop-off point, please let me know and I will make everyone aware. I would really appreciate any help in that area, if at all possible!
