Bread of Life Christian Academy is proud to celebrate our Lionheart Award Winner for the week of 8/24-8/28! 🎉

This special award recognizes a student who demonstrates courage, character, leadership, kindness, and a heart that reflects Christ. Your hard work and positive example have truly stood out!

Abby Hucks is an 8th level student who missed a couple of days due to sickness last week but managed to get all of her goals completed before returning for class. She also pitched in and assisted Mrs. Donette with several of the younger kid's lunches, helping to utilize the microwaves and make sure all the younger students were cared for. She was also heard in a few conversations showing Godly character in the words spoken! We are so thankful for the progress she is making so far this year!

🍞Today we had a little science lesson about yeast and how it activates and helps in the baking of bread, just as Christ activates our lives. Students mixed their dough and helped prepare their loaf for baking. Mrs. Donette rushed the loaves home and was able to get them all in the oven and baked. Tomorrow, students will have their bread to take home so family can enjoy their masterpieces! 🍞

Khloe was noticed holding the door for her classmates, and also seen saying I'm sorry when she felt she had wronged a classmate. Khloe is in our 1st level ABC's with Ace and Christi program and has transitioned like a champ from the Preschool/Kindergarten building to the Big Learning Center!
