The Mt. Calvary Church Family extends our heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Sis. Veronica Penn and the entire Penn family in the passing of our beloved virtual member, Bro. Thomas Penn, Sr.. 🙏🏽

Bro. Penn and his wife became a part of our Mt. Calvary family during COVID through our virtual Sunday School.

Although we connected virtually, Bro. Penn’s presence was very real and very meaningful. He faithfully joined us each Sunday, participated in class discussions, and continued to attend our worship services.

Bro. Penn was more than a virtual member—he was a part of our church family. His presence, participation, and fellowship will truly be missed.

We pray that God will continue to comfort Sis. Veronica and the entire family, giving them strength and peace during this difficult time.

Rest well, Bro. Penn. You will be missed, but your Mt. Calvary family will never forget you. 💙🕊️

As we prepare for the new school we are excited to announce Minister Aaron is officially the newest teacher at Conway High School! 🐅📚👏🏾

Now, while the majority of our church proudly represent the Loris Lions 🦁 or the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs 🏹, we have a special little group who are Conway Tigers through and through! 😂

Kenya, GeFranya, Ivory, George E. , and Keemia are EXTRA excited about Minister Aaron joining the faculty at their alma mater!

Congratulations, Minister Aaron! We know you’ll do an amazing job molding young minds at CHS! 👏🏾📝🏦

✨ Celebrating Excellence at Mt. Calvary! ✍🏾📝
In a world where cursive writing is not required and a “text” is the communication of choice . . . We had the privilege of recognizing our outstanding young members who applied for our scholarship opportunities. We beamed while listening to report from the scholarship committee!

Their essays were so beautifully written and heartfelt that they even brought tears to the eyes of our scholarship committee. What a wonderful reminder of the gifts, dreams, and potential within our young people. ❤️

Congratulations to our scholarship recipients : Justin Sheffield , London Vereen, and Tyler Brown!

Your accomplishments make Mt. Calvary proud, and we are excited to watch God continue to guide your journey.

Today, we praise God for Bro. Kenneth “Bo” Richardson, a familiar and valued member of our community who made a beautiful decision to become part of our church family.

Praises continued as one of our Angels , Sis. Oreyanna Graham , rededicated her life to Christ and returned to Mt. Calvary ready to serve 😉. Welcome Back !!!!

Today, Mt. Calvary proudly celebrates and honors Sis. Frances B. Graham as our Woman of the Year!

Mrs. Frances is truly a woman of faith, service, love, and dedication. She serves faithfully as a Sunday School Scholar and Young People’s Department Advisor, always willing to encourage, teach, guide, and lend a helping hand.

If you know Mrs. Frances, you know that she will always greet you with a warm hug! 🤗 Her heart for people is evident in everything she does. She continually goes above and beyond to accommodate and care for others.

Her service reaches throughout the ministry as she lends her beautiful voice to both the Young Adult Choir and Senior Choir. She also faithfully takes on the responsibility of coordinating special celebrations and events, including our Annual Sweetheart Banquet, program recognizing our graduates , Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day programs.

Mrs. Frances, your love, commitment, servant’s heart, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed. You are a blessing to Mt. Calvary and to everyone whose life you touch. 💛
