For those who faithfully preach the gospel, we have come to treasure the spiritual example, insight, and wisdom of Dr. Robert Smith, Jr. He is indeed a gift to the body of Christ! It was truly a blessing to be in his presence yesterday and hear him lay open the Word. Romans 10:15 declares, “And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” Dr. Smith responds, “I may get tired in the work, but I have not gotten tired of the work.” To God Be Praised!

Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. Sermon: “From Distress to Deliverance” – Psalm 120:1-7. Psalm 120 takes us on a journey from distress to deliverance, reminding us that even in our darkest moments, God hears our cries. This psalm, known as one of the Songs of Ascent, was sung by pilgrims making their way up to Jerusalem for worship, and it speaks directly to those of us who feel like outsiders in a hostile world. We are not promised a life free from conflict, but we are promised a God who responds when we call.
