Today, we honor Pastor Emerita Jessie Lovett.

Pastor Emerita Jessie Lovett faithfully served as the former pastor of Bright Star Church and remains a pillar of wisdom, faith, and steadfast leadership within our organization.

At 88 years old, she is the oldest elder in the organization, with more than 60 years of devoted ministry. Her life has been marked by unwavering service to God and His people, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to impact generations.

In addition to her pastoral leadership, Pastor Lovett has faithfully serves as a Local Church Mother, dedicating herself to equipping women for leadership and training them in the way of holiness. Through her wisdom, mentorship, and example, she has helped shape countless lives and strengthened the Kingdom of God.

Today, we celebrate Pastor Emerita Jessie Lovett for her extraordinary faithfulness, her enduring commitment to the Gospel, and the remarkable legacy she has built through a lifetime of service. We honor her with gratitude and give thanks to God for the gift of her life and ministry.

Tanzania Mission Update #1

God Is Already Moving!

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Greetings from Tanzania!

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generous support. I arrived safely, and from the moment I landed, God has been opening incredible doors for ministry.

This week, your generosity provided a stove for a young man who recently aged out of an orphanage, giving him the ability to prepare meals and care for himself independently.

I also spent time with a leader at the orphanage who is grieving the loss of a family member. We shared a meal, worshiped together, and prayed for God’s comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult season.

One of the greatest joys was spending the day with a young adult from the orphanage who rarely has the opportunity to leave the campus. Seeing the excitement over simple experiences was a beautiful reminder that love is often expressed through presence and intentional care.

Even before arriving in Tanzania, God opened the door to share my testimony and the hope of Jesus Christ with a fellow traveler on my flight. Please continue praying that the seeds planted will bear lasting fruit.

Prayer Requests

* Pray for open hearts to receive the Gospel.
* Pray for strength and wisdom for our ministry team.
* Pray for continued ministry among orphans, widows, and the Maasai community.
* Pray that God will continue providing resources to meet practical needs.

Through the power of the Gospel and the faithfulness of God’s people, lives were transformed:

Did you miss our Youth Outreach Day last Saturday? 🙌🏾🔥 What an amazing time we had together! We were blessed to reach over 400 souls through love, service, and fellowship! God truly moved, lives were touched, and we’re still rejoicing over the impact!
