Hi there! I thought I'd share this. Tex Owen passed away on Tuesday. His service will be Friday 6/26. He was a longtime member of CMA and well known throughout the state. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 26 at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home in Pickens, 2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy. Visitation begins 1:30 pm, and the service at 3 pm.

It would be great to ride to the funeral home together (bikes and cars). Any CMAers are welcome to join us. We'll meet at Spinx at 123 & 178 in Liberty at 12:45pm (7252 Moorefield Memorial Hwy, Liberty, SC 29657). Kickstand up at 1:15pm. We'll make the 15 minute ride to the funeral home and park together in the parking lot. Suzann encouraged us to wear our colors! Tex always did!!

Well...as the rain fell today Potters wheels still got together for Run for the Son, and hung out for lunch and said our prayer for CMA at 1 pm. A very special day being together and some folks that we haven't seen for a while came and visited us which was a blessing for sure. God Bless ...
