Services Canceled Tomorrow!

Hi Coastway Family, as you know there is some serious winter weather coming this afternoon and into the evening. It will be followed by bitter cold, and the snow will not likely clear for a few days. As such, we will follow guidance we're receiving and will NOT be holding worship services tomorrow. Please make safe choices this weekend, and if you have a need that the weather is going to complicate, please reach out to one of our community group leaders or to me personally (Alan) if needed.

What an action packed week for Coastway Church!

We passed out 100 inviter cards and 200 cookies to new CCU students at OK Day, and with the help of our friends from First Baptist Spartanburg, we put 250 door hangers on doors in our neighborhood, letting folks know where to find hope and renewal in the context of a new and growing local church! Our new friends from FBC Spartanburg also joined us Sunday for worship and Monday to prayer walk CCU campus. Thanks to the ladies from Coastway who baked the cookies, and Alex Smith our College Director and ministry resident who organized OK Day and the CCU Prayer walk. Thanks to Joshua Austin for bringing the team from Spartanburg and we look forward to seeing how God uses the efforts of this weekend to advance the Kingdom!

What a great first Sunday for Coastway to meet at the Ridgefield Baptist Church location! It was a blessing to see what we've been praying for finally come to fruition, and to celebrate this day together with our partners from the Ridgefield Baptist Church family. We're going to be here every Sunday at 11 if you want to come see what the excitement is all about! 891 SC-90 in Conway!

This past Sunday, June 30 was the bittersweet last day that Coastway Church met at Black Water Middle School. We have been honored to have use of this space for the last 3 years, however, we now transition from a tenant to a strategic neighbor of Black Water Middle School. Thanks to Principal Gore, Mr. E, and the entire team at BWMS for your hospitality and flexibility in working with us during this season! Coastway loves BWMS and we are committed to being strategic partners for the foreseeable future! May the Lord Bless and keep you and make his face to shine upon you! (Numbers 6:24-26)

A historic event for Coastway Church! We had our first experience as a church at the Ridgefield campus Friday night June 6. It was a Spirit-filled evening of dinner, fellowship, worship, equipping, and officially affirming our interim pastor, Alan Skiles. We were privileged to have Jay Worthington and John Gaudelock from our partner churches to join us and bless us with greetings from their churches and encouraging words for Coastway. Looking forward to many more wonderful evenings like this one on the campus of Ridgefield Baptist Church during this new season!

Coastway, Ridgefield, and our partners at North Conway Baptist Church have been steadily working to refresh the Ridgefield property as we prepare to move Coastway's Sunday gatherings there starting Sunday July 6! Pray for both churches as we exist side by side for this next exciting season!
