We've reached the final chapter in our sermon series "Christian Atheist" and we'll end on "I believe in God, but I don't believe I can change." There's good news and bad news with this.. the bad news is that change is hard and next to impossible - just look at Romans 7:15-20 (the apostle Paul's little tongue twister!) The good news is when you get to Romans 7:25 "Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!" He's done the work, we need to believe that to see change. "I believe in God, but I am ashamed of my past" is our next sermon message in the series "Christian Atheist". It's hard to reconcile that a perfect God can love us when we try to view his love through our past mistakes and regrets. But God (two of the best words in scripture!) takes those sins from a repentant heart and remembers them no more! Come hear how that is even possible during worship services this Sunday.
