SA Tabernacle House of Prayer

SA Tabernacle House of Prayer I will rebuild the Tabernacle of David… -Acts 15:16 24/7 worship and prayer. Simply put, because Jesus is worth it, and much more. God is doing this!

When the disciples in the New Testament asked Jesus how we should pray, Jesus said to pray our Father, who is in Heaven, Holy is Your name. Your kingdom come and Your will be done on Earth just like it is in heaven. What is happening in Heaven right now? Every time we get a glimpse of what is going on at Heaven’s throne through the Bible we see into the Heavenly culture of perpetual worship, adora

tion, and proclamation of the beauty, wisdom, and infinite worth of God: “to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power forever amen.” Isaiah saw God on His throne in Isaiah 6 and 836 years later when John saw the same, Heaven was still singing the same song: Holy, Holy, Holy. God is restoring this reality in our generation. Though 24/7 adoration, music, and prayer may seem like a new idea it has actually been around since the days of King David in the old testament with it’s roots in the book Leviticus where it says that “Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.” Through the centuries 24/7 prayer has taken several forms all over the planet and has powerfully impacted the nations throughout history. King David was the first king to pull this reality out of Heaven, but he has not been the only one. Other biblical Kings and leaders after David instituted the Davidic order of worship in their times. Moving forward we can see the many monasteries, the Moravian prayer movement, Prayer Mountain in South Korea, and now we are to the point were it is becoming too numerous to accurately measure all the Prayer and worship that is rising up throughout the earth in our day. To look back again, the Tabernacle of David was when King David had brought the Ark of God’s presence back to Jerusalem, removed the veil, then appointed full-time musicians and singers to use their instruments and voices to prophesy and minister directly to the Lord by giving thanks to The Lord, calling upon His name, making known His deeds to the people, singing His praises, speaking His wonders and seeking Him continually. This level of partnership with God’s heart even while under the old covenant made such an impact that God spoke through Amos saying that He will rebuild the Tabernacle of David in the last days, and again in the book of Acts James reiterates the promise: “I will rebuild the Tabernacle of David...”

Although we have seen 24/7 prayer throughout biblical and church history, God is releasing and building something on a much grander scale than what we have seen in the past. Non-stop worship and prayer is rising literally all over the globe. Even in countries that you would never guess or imagine, communities and houses of prayer are lifting high the name of Jesus and partnering with His will to see Heaven come to Earth.

“From the rising of the sun even to it’s setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name...” -Malachi 1:11

About SA Tabernacle:

SA Tabernacle is a collaboration of musicians and intercessors representing different Christian non-profit organizations and local church congregations. We are connecting and coordinating with the body of Christ throughout the San Antonio area to see 24/7 worship and prayer realized in our city. Inspired by the Tabernacle of David and God’s promise to rebuild it in the last days in all nations for all nations, we will not let our city be passed by with what God is doing. It is our conviction that the church around the earth is in the beginning of a mighty shift. All over the planet, houses, communities, and regions of continuous prayer and worship are being raised up to declare the infinite worth and supremacy of Jesus over the world. We believe that Yahweh is in the midst of gathering His people into a global ‘upper-room’ to usher in a restorative move of His presence that will bring many sinners to repentance and breathe eternal life into the church. He is doing this through communities of prayer. When I look across church landscape, I cannot help but take notice of the priority that God is giving to the ministry of intercession and adoration. We believe that our city is next! Our mission is to seek out and partner with those around the city who have a heart for constant adoration of Jesus and partnership with His will through unceasing prayer in San Antonio. We also desire to engage in calling others into the place of intimacy with God, prayer, and worship. To be a voice releasing a cry to see the urgency of the hour in which we live and draw near to The Father and begin to ask for Jesus’ inheritance: the Nations. Our Vision is to see 24/7 worship and prayer realized in our city through the Church of Jesus Christ in San Antonio. That incense would rise day and night to the throne of God while being accessible and available for public participation and community healing. That this coming together to draw near to God would not only unleash a mighty move of God’s presence, but that His presence would literally find a place to rest in San Antonio. That we will be a home built by God through the city-wide church whom He is fashioning as living stones of humility and contrition. A company of people who tremble at His word, singing Him new songs of thanks, calling on His name, making known His mighty works, and to usher in a cultural and moral revolution that will heal our land because God finds rest in San Antonio.
