Here's a little known fact. The Holy Spirit does not make you feel bad when you sin if you are a believer; your own born again heart does that. He is here to convict THE WORLD that they have sin and need Jesus. Don't hide form him when you sin, run to him and receive forgiveness and comfort. That's who he is "The Comforter".

For if OUR HEART condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. - 1 John 3:20-21

And when He has come, He will convict THE WORLD of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment; of sin, because they do not believe in Me - John 16:8-9

John 16:13-15
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
