This was our last Sunday as lead pastor at Conroe First Assembly. Our hearts were sad that we were stepping down but our spirits were excited to see what God would do with this wonderful church in the future. God did not fail us for he sent pastors Sharon and Ernest Fridge to lead this church. One year ago Pastor Fridge invited Pat and I to return to the church. We have been blessed by the powerful preaching and the spirit of God in the church.
In January 2021, Pat was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer. This church reached out to us in prayer and providing food. In June this year Pat was described by her doctor as having a virginal inside. When she operated on Pat there was no cancer!
Thank you pastors Sharon and Ernest Fridge and church for praying for us in our time of need. We love you.
To our children who stood with us five years ago and prayed with us for my wife’s healing through this journey, thank you and we love you all.
