We will be continuing our “VIRTUAL TOUR” Bible study series Monday mornings at 10:00-11:30.

We’ll be using a lot of visuals to get virtual “feet on the ground” …..SEE where the events of the Bible took place!

We are starting something NEW and I am really excited about it. Tonight at CBC we will have a Friday night service with worship and preaching starting at 6:00 and then following it, various small groups.

TONIGHT, if you’re interested in making items for this year’s OCC shoeboxes, we are starting the first of many Friday evenings (Lord willing) to use our skills, learn new ones, get the young people involved, and have a great time of fellowship and service!

Meet afterwards downstairs in Sunday school room next to the kitchen.

He will be sharing what’s happening with his ministry at the Aliyah Return Center. He was born in the United States and moved to Israel with his family so he will be sharing his unique perspective.

Ladies, just a reminder that we have a planning meeting in the FELLOWSHIP HALL for the Women’s Ministry TOMORROW on Saturday October 16 at 9:00-11:00 ? am

Just a head’s up….if you’re unable to make the meeting, please still pray and seek the Lord for His direction in serving Him as a group. You can contact me or Drema with your ideas. I know we have lots of seasonal ministry opportunities coming up. Exciting ❤️

we will have light refreshments: muffins, fruit, coffee/tea.

We also have a guest speaker, Gigi Williams, who will be sharing her testimony. She has written a book: “God’s Hand in ‘My One’” - her story having been born without her left hand. Very inspiring!

We will be continuing with our 2 Women’s Bible studies on Mondays:

10:00-11:30 am Ministry gifts.
Do you know how God has gifted you spiritually to serve Him?

7:00-8:30 pm The Holy Spirit
Do you know that as a believer we are in dwelled and empowered by the Holy Spirit? The very “dunamis” power that raised Jesus from the dead! We get our word DYNAMITE from that word!! Wow! Think about that power when we read:
2 Corinthians 10:3-5

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but MIGHTY in God for PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS, 5 CASTING DOWN ARGUMENTS and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, BRINGING EVERY THOUGHT INTO CAPTIVITY to the obedience of Christ,

Wow!!! We live in the power of the Holy Spirit not in our flesh to do God’s will in our life!

Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the [a]strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Thank you dear Father!!! My flesh and my heart fail!! BUT GOD!!! I need to remind myself of that today and everyday!

God ALWAYS provides!!!! This time yards and yards of fabric!!! Praise the Lord!! That’s what is SO exciting to serve in the VBS ministry over the years!! CBC is getting ready to share Jesus during this year’s Wilderness Escape VBS. Leeland repeatedly said: “I can’t wait for VBS!”

Guest speaker Pastor Andy Cook will be bringing Israel to Conowingo Baptist Church! With the use of his visual presentations, he brings Bible stories to life! Using his professionally recorded video taken on location in Israel, aerials, and Google Earth, Pastor Cook brings context to well-known Bible passages, and provides poignant spiritual applications. He’s not IN the videos, he’s presenting in front of the videos! Truly a Church Revival in 5 sessions! Sunday June 6th: 11:00 a.m./7:00 p.m. and Monday-Wednesday June 7-9th: 7:00 p.m.

Good Saturday to you all!! Just wanted to let you know that we will discontinue the Ladies Bible studies (Monday morning and night) until the Revival is done..we will get back on May 17 at 10:00 am and 7:00 pm - in Sondra’s room.
