Good Sunday Morning !!!!

What a beautiful morning it is to go to the house of the Lord !!!

Colossians 3:23-24 KJV

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

“Whatsoevery ye do, do it heartily”

Whatever work we’re doing, do it with all our heart. This means to
give it your best effort and with everything you got, your 100% best, to every tasks ! We should be approaching them with excitement and enthusiasm, not half-heartedly.

“as to the Lord”

No matter how big or small the task is, they are to be done as if we are directly serving God.

“And not unto man”

Each task that we do for ourselves or for an employer, should be done to give God the glory and not man.

“Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ”

The Lord as the ultimate employer !

“Everythnig” we do, is done for Jesus Christ !!!
Our entire motivation should be to please God, for his pleasure and approval, not the praises of man !!!!

The reward promised here is not “of” this world, but it’s an inheritance given by God for the work done “in” this world and the joy of serving Jesus Christ !!!!

Gather your family together and go to church!

Dear God, thank You for another day. Thank You for giving me the chance to start fresh. Thank You, God, for protecting me from what I thought I wanted and blessing me with what I didn’t know I needed. Thank You for not seeing me as a mistake. I know I don’t always get it right, but I’m thankful that You never give up on me. Your word in Isaiah 43:18-19 says, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Today, I let go of the guilt and the bitterness that tries to weigh me down. Help me forgive where I need to forgive and walk in the joy and freedom You’ve already given me. Thank You for making all things new. I trust You with everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
