💪✨ Ladies Self-Defense Class ✨💪

What a powerful morning! We had 16 women of all ages come together to learn practical self-defense skills and grow in confidence.

Natalie Wilson also shared a devotion on the Armor of God, reminding us that while physical training is important, our greatest strength and protection come from the Lord.

Strong in body.

Today we pause to give thanks to the Lord for His unending goodness, His daily mercies, and the blessings He pours over our lives—seen and unseen. No matter what this year has held, we have a faithful God who walks with us, sustains us, and deserves all our praise. 🙌🏻

The OBC Ladies Ministry is hosting a Dignity Drive benefitting Safe Harbor in Hickory. We are asking that you bring NEW women’s bras & underwear of all sizes, bra extenders, adult depends, feminine pads, tampons, wipes & body soap by November 8th. Drop boxes are located in the foyer and in Ladies Sunday School Class.

Then join us on Saturday, November 8th @ 11am at Oxford to fellowship as we hear from a Safe Harbor representative about their ministry and give them all of the items we are currently collecting. Bring a finger food to share and enjoy this service opportunity.

Landa Wheeler returns as our guest speaker to share about spiritual growth and fighting the emotions that hold us captive, hindering us from bringing God the glory He deserves and robbing us of His joy.
