We spent the most wonderful and blessed day today working for our Lord and spreading His Word!
Our “Servants on the Square” event was a HUGE success!!
The morning started early as some of our team joined another mission team to “Sling Some Biscuits” and serve breakfast to the homeless at Open Door Church. This blessed our team as much as it did those in need. I’m sure we will be assisting this mission and donating needed supplies more in the future.
Then our teams divided and conquered the streets and byways to pass out flyers and invite everyone they saw to join us for an evening of praise, worship, prayer and speakers at Union Square in Downtown Hickory. Oh what a night it was!!
The Holy Ghost showed up and took over! We had people worshiping singing and praising with us. We had souls touched and prayer requested. We had people just stop on the sidewalk to enjoy the Lords presence and the worship music. We meet new friends and enjoyed some friends we haven’t seen in a while. We had people ask for directions to our church and we’re looking forward to having them join us and becoming part of our family.
We had a wonderful and blessed day!
Thank you to all who helped, prayed for the event, and supported in any way! It couldn’t have been the great success that it was without each and every one of you!
Rest up, because we’re going to do it all again come Fall!
