Do you have a busy day on Ash Wednesday? No problem! At Valley UMC (the red brick church) right in downtown Conneautville, we are offering a special, quick, "come as you can," ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE. Here is how it will work: If you want to observe this first day of the Lent season and be marked with Ashes, drive to Valley UMC in downtown Conneautville and park on the street in front; honk your horn; Pastor Matt will come out, offer you and your passengers a prayer and blessing, and mark your forehead with ashes in commemoration of Christ's sacrifice and liberation for us through the cross. This should take only a few minutes for each car and we will be offering this service from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PRO-TIP: Drive to the church so that you are driving south on route 18.

We would like to invite you to attend one of our cooperative's ASH WEDNESDAY services this evening. Pastor Heather will be officiating at Valley UMC in downtown Conneautville at 7:00 p.m., and Pastor Matt will be officiating at Franklin Center UMC just outside of Edinboro at 7:00 p.m.

Unfortunately, due to such frigid weather conditions and the resulting hardships that causes to our congregants and clergy to travel, as well as the problems that have hit our buildings to prepare for the services we were forced to cancel our worship services during this Christmastide Holiday.

We hope that this short service of carols and songs blesses your hearts and ignites the light of Jesus Christ in your own household worship. Merry Christmas and God/Love Bless You.
