A couple of weeks ago, the 4th-grade/ 5th-grade class went on an overnight trip to Camp Concordia. They explored God's beautiful creation, learned more about the Bible, and had fun! Thank you, Camp Concordia, and the chaperones.
If your child or your family is interested in going to camp this year, check out Camp Concordia!

Thanks to the Sparta Fire Department and one of our own parents, a firefighter with the Wyoming FD, we had a great time learning about fire safety!
The kids hopefully went home knowing more about what to do in case of a fire and how amazing our first responders are.
They also had 2 questions to ask their families:
1. Where is your family's meet-up location if there is a fire at home?
2. Do you have working smoke detectors in your home and in every room in your home?

Great things to talk about during Fire Safety Month!

Some of you (sort of) guessed what was in the 4/5 classroom....

We are excited to be a part of the Salmon in the Classroom project! The 4th 5th grade room has a 75-gallon tank set up and ready for salmon eggs in November! We will be able to watch them grow and take care of them until they are ready to be released. Stay tuned in January for a live feed directly from the tank!

We are at the Great Lakes Unity Conference for the second day. We are here learning and growing to serve our school, students, and families even better!

We celebrated our new pastor for his first Pastor Appreciation! We are grateful for him and his family for serving at Trinity Lutheran Church as well as being a part of our cool little school! We made a giant card and got him his favorite dessert to have later. Thank you, Pastor Benkert!
