We are a congregation that longs to build a closer relationship with our God in Christ and to rejoice in the fellowship he has given to us through our neighbors. We are people gathered around Word and Sacrament, living in the grace that God has given us in his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Our central belief is that we are saved solely by God’s grace (gift) through faith in Jesus Christ
and his work on the cross for all of fallen (sinful) humanity. Living in that grace we are drawn by the Holy Spirit to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We rejoice in God’s Gifts and seek to share them with our neighbors. We have various women’s groups that meet throughout the month for Bible Study, fellowship, and service projects. There is also a men’s group that meets one a month for study and fellowship. We Rejoice in our active chior, our praise band “Off Keys to the Kingdom” and the many people that share their talents to help in worship every week. We enjoy an active Sunday School and Bible Study goups, and we rejoice in those willing to share their love of Christ with our learners (ages 3-93). We have a Bible School every summer that reaches out beyond our community to witness about God’s love and majesty in our life. We reach out to the youngest (ages 3-5) through our Bright Beginnings Preschool. In addition to this, we strive to be active in charitable work in Concordia with time, talent, and donations to the various groups that seek to help neighbors in an organized way.
