Family Footnotes:
Have you ever wondered what the disciples looked like? I have this mental image in my head, probably from Sunday school leaflets or bible storybook pictures. The Bible is not very specific about the appearance of these men or what they wore, and maybe there’s a reason for that. Those are not the important things. What is made clear is their character. That’s because Jesus focuses on the inside, not the outside. It’s what is in our heart that matters. So much in today’s society is measured by things which have little eternal value, and to be quite honest, sometimes I measure myself by those same standards. Things on the outside are temporary, and God never meant for them to be our main pursuit. It’s not bad to have nice things or to be proud about accomplishments that we have worked hard for, but they were never meant to be our primary focus. There is so much more to life than things and stuff and honors and accolades. It’s what on the inside that has an eternal impact. Jesus called His disciples to live a life that was more than skin deep, and He calls us to that same life. He chose us, and the riches that He has in store for us in eternity far outweigh what this world will ever be able to give. “The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16: 7b

Last week we recognized our 8th graders as they completed their time at St. Paul’s.

Through funds raised throughout the school year, the class donated $200 to Mr. Larsen’s Scholarship Fund and $200 to the Capital Campaign: TOGETHER Faith + Mission + Life.

We are proud of their generosity, leadership, and servant hearts. Wishing our graduates God’s richest blessings as they begin their high school journey!

WOW — what an incredible turnout for Kids Market Day! 💛

Thank you to everyone who came out to shop, support, encourage, and cheer on these amazing young entrepreneurs. Your support meant so much to every child who spent time creating products, setting up booths, practicing customer service skills, and working hard all morning long.

We are so proud of all of the kids who participated. Their creativity, confidence, hard work, and excitement were truly something special to see!

A huge thank you as well to the families, volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the day such a success.
