Viața noastră trebuie mereu repoziționată pe calea dreaptă, deoarece suntem într-un pericol constant de a ne pierde perspectiva și pasiunea ce ne înflăcărează existența. Cauza poate fi o dezamăgire nerezolvată, generată de așteptările noastre prea mari și o interpretare prea limitată. Când calea nu e cm am anticipat-o noi, ne pierdem nădejdea și ne retragem în interior.
Totuși, Isus ne poate ajuta să vedem o situație așa cm este ea de fapt. Când noi ne îndepărtăm, Isus este Cel care se apropie de noi. El nu ne condamnă înainte de a ne asculta și ne corectează cu bunătate și blândețe. În jurul Persoanei lui Hristos, adevărul Scripturilor capătă sens și claritate pentru noi.
O întâlnire reală cu Domnul Isus aprinde inima în noi și ne întoarce la chemarea pe care o avem. Chemarea noastră este să ne întoarcem din căile pe care le considerăm noi potrivite și să Îl urmăm pe El oriunde voia Sa ne va conduce.

Eight years ago today, I received the call that my father Billy Graham had gone home to Heaven. He wasn’t afraid to die. In fact, near the end of his life, he said, “I know I’m going to Heaven. I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation because of what Jesus did on that Cross.” What about you? Do you have the same confidence?

The most important decision any of us make in life is to accept or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. That decision changes everything—and it determines where we will spend eternity! Jesus said, “…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…” (John 11:25-26). What a promise! If we repent of our sins and put our faith in Jesus Christ, we will be safe in the presence of God forever. If you’ve never made that choice and surrendered your life to Him, I urge you to do that today.
