As much as we hate to say it… school is starting back up. 😭🎒
A new school year can bring a LOT with it—new classes, new teachers, changing friendships, sports and activities, expectations, pressure, excitement, and plenty of unknowns.
So, CP Students, as you head back, we’re praying for you.
Jesus,
Thank You for each of our students. As they walk into their schools this year, remind them that they never walk in alone. You are with them.
Give them courage to live differently when following You isn’t the popular choice. Give them wisdom in the decisions they make, confidence in who You say they are, and compassion to notice the people around them who might need a friend.
Guard their hearts when comparison, pressure, anxiety, or the need to fit in gets loud. Surround them with friendships that encourage them toward You. Help them work hard, give grace to themselves and others, and remember that their grades, accomplishments, popularity, and failures never define their worth.
And Jesus, use them. In classrooms, on teams, in lunchrooms, at rehearsals, and in hallways, help them live as people who know You and reflect Your love to others.
For our parents, give them wisdom to know when to speak, when to listen, when to encourage, and when to simply be present. Help our families keep following Jesus together through all this year holds.
