These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.(1Jn.5:13)
What do you know for sure? Blessed Assurance Jesus is mine. God has given us some absolutes that we might know for sure, with confidence that when we leave this world we will step into eternity with the Lord in heaven. As we learn to walk by faith we learn God's promises remove doubt, and fears, that keeps us from enjoying our salvation. God's peace comes when we experience Rock solid certainty that we've been saved. If your unsure of salvation, there's a good chance you've never accepted Jesus Christ. When His holy spirit fills your heart you will know beyond any doubt you've been saved. Ask Jesus to save you, and he will. That's his promise to you. (Roms.10:13 ) says whosoever calls upon the name of the lord will be saved. If your unsure call on Jesus to save you. Then you can know for sure that your saved. It's God's will for you to have the assurance you need to live for him. Tomorrow's message focuses on the assurance God has placed in us, so that we can be sure we're saved.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Issac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son.(Hebs.11:17)
It's been said " A faith that can't be tested can't be trusted. There's two types of test. The kind that makes us stumble. Then there's the kind that strengthens us, and causes us to stand. God is going to give you some test. Not to harm you, but to grow your faith. Some of you are going through some test today. These trails are to show you wheather your faith is pure, and strong. God loves you, and knows what your facing. Tomorrow we'll answer three questions as we're facing trails that God uses to grow our faith.

Say ye not there are yet four months and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields: they are white already to harvest.( Jn.4:35)
How big is your world? Our focus determines how we answer that question. If we are only concerned about our family, our friends, our job, our
church, then we need to enlarge our world. Aren't you glad Jesus wasn't selfish? Tomorrow in our text we'll discover what steps are necessary to enlarge our world.

Happy Mother's day to all our Mother's it's a privilege, and honor to be a mom. It's also a tremendous responsibility, so remember , if God has given you the blessing of being a mom, He has also given you the responsibility to pray for your children. Tomorrow as we honor our moms let's remember that moms need our prayers too. If you are privileged to be a mom use your influence to point your children to the Lord. God has given you a blessing, with responsibility. Keep praying even when you don't know, or understand what God is up to. Bring your children to church, that's a great place to start.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (Hebs.10:38)
The bible tells us that Without faith it is impossible to please God. Paul said that he was pleasing in God's eyes.(Acts 26:19) Since faith is unseen we must demonstrate faith through our obedience . Even when it is not conveint, or easy. We must walk the walk of faith in order for others to see it at work in our lives.
Let's examine our lives, and learn how to walk a life of faithfulness with our Lord, even when it's difficult, and often times inconvenient. Sometimes faith changes our circumstances, but sometimes faith does not. As we learn about the hero's of faith, remember you can still be a hero of faith Without seeing a miracle. The important thing is that you diligently seek to live a faithful life. Let's dig a little deeper tomorrow as we learn how to seek to be faithful followers of Christ.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.(2 Cors. 12:10)
To prevent Paul from becoming prideful he was given a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of the devil to harass him: Three times he pleaded with the Lord that it should leave him. His answer "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." What was this thorn? We're not told. Some think it was an eye problem, or a person the devil used to stir up opposition against Paul. The vagueness of this thorn allows us to insert our own thorn into this slot: a health problem, a handicap, a painful emotional need. Maybe a person. Paul reminds us that regardless of the misery, or difficulty "I am content with weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. The message of grace is that whatever your dealing with. God's grace is sufficient. Aren't you glad God has all grace you need to face whatever thorn God has allowed into your life. Come tomorrow as we unravel the message of grace.
