Nicole Kinlaw and I have waited for the right time to announce some exciting news and today is the day.
I recently accepted the position of youth and children’s pastor at Faith Temple COG in Belfast Maine.
The family and I have been working to put our home on the market, and it will be listed today- thank you Nicole Modzeleski Howley! We are so thankful for all the family and friends in our lives. Our church family at Capitol City COG, our state overseer and pastor Ben Monk and Lizz Monk.

We could not be more excited about this new opportunity and adventure. We have been so encouraged to see Gods hand in each and every part of this process from the offer to the favor at work, in the ministry, and even at home. It’s humbling to see and experience the blessings of Christ in our lives, and to first hand witness how He works all things together for the good of those who are called according to His purposes.
This is one of the hardest moves we have had to make, we have made so many amazing friends, built ao many relationships, and established lives here. This walk of faith is different than I or I think we had ever imagined, but so thankful that in the midst of it all there is overwhelming peace, unbelievable support, and unmerited favor. God is good, all the time! Thankful to be part of His plan.

“Daniel was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy. Daniel 6:4
It’s hard to trust people today, isn’t it? How many people are frustrated because of a spouse who was unfaithful, a friend who disappointed them, a salesman who was dishonest, or a doctor who misdiagnosed an illness? Rebuilding a friendship is difficult after a perceived betrayal has occurred.
We can’t always do a lot about others who are untrustworthy, but we can do something about ourselves—or rather, we can let the Lord do something within us. He is utterly trustworthy.
Psalm 119:86 “All your commands are trustworthy”.
Psalm 145:13 “The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does”.�As Christians, we’re to grow in His faithful love and kindness.
Ephesians 4:25-27 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 "In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. �One way to do this is by fostering trust in our relationships. Brotherly kindness begins with a trustworthy spirit—the willingness to be honest and kind. If you’ve been betrayed, seek to forgive. And in all your dealings, be someone who can be trusted with the cares, secrets, and confidences of others.
Ask God to help you grow in your ability to be trusted. and as we strive to be a trustable person we must also seek HIS wisdom in who and when to trust. � Among the blessings and enjoyments of this life, there are few that can be compared in value to the possession of a faithful friend. THAT is the LORD JESUS! Always just a prayer away, but places a high value on His relationship with you should cause us to place a great importance on the intimate time with HIM!”

Thinking this morning on how He says “ ”You shall make no covenant with them and their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”“
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23‬:‭32‬-‭33‬ ‭ESV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/59/exo.23.32-33.ESV.” (Paraphrasing). Satan has not changed his plan- Christian’s today are called to a no compromise lifestyle. So many speak about “is it ok to do this?” Or “I should be ok doing that.”
God calls us to be called our from among them, to be different and live different- when we don’t we open ourselves up to sin against God., and ultimately damage and destroy His relationship with us- this is bad for both us and for those we are called to be among. When we compromise our walk, we compromise our witness. When we compromise our walk, we separate ourselves from God Himself.

Music, movies, conversations, alcohol, so many areas where we allow “their gods” to become “our god.”
Yhweh knew this would happen, and warned against making covenant with them, or allowing them in the place of the Israelites camps- to be mingled with them is to be compromised by them.

Holy- this is what we are called to. Holy means- Set Apart. This means to be solely devoted to, committed to, and faithful to God alone. Set apart for Him and His purposes/glory. Come out from among them, and don’t let them be found in your homes/camps/or among you. Called to be different. So thankful this hits so hard this morning! Sanctified, Holy.

Bible study class this evening we are going to be at “your fired” in concord. It’s a pottery painting and glazing studio where you paint and glaze your own pieces of pottery. It’s a lot of fun, and not very expensive. If you don’t think it’s affordable please reach out to and we can talk, don’t want that to be the reason folks don’t go.
