Together.

Let’s take steps towards Jesus together in 2022. Through the Word, hangouts, meals, and prayer.

And let’s watch the Lord add to those who are being saved!

Pride is a beast.

It tells us we are the best.
It tells us no one gets us.
It tells us we know better.
It tells us we don’t need God.

Daily, we must ask ourselves if we are glorifying the one who holds our life-breath in his hand, our ourselves.

Let’s make this day about the One who loves us most of all

No one comes to God without being humble.

Both our salvation and our growing as Christians require it of us.

Nebuchadnezzar was humbled in a wild way - what will it take for you?

Don’t forget that no one is beyond redemption. If God can humble an arrogant king of a nation that did not know him, he can humble that bully at school, that crotchety neighbor, that weird uncle, your best friend and your worst enemy.

Proclaim the miracles and wonders of God to someone this week!

God is always in control.

In the dark and the light,
in the pain and the fun,
in the loneliness and the fellowship,
in the exile and the homecoming.

Hold on to the One who holds all things together. He is one day going to make the wrong things right.

Let this truth help you be faithful to Him no matter what you’re walking through right now.

We live in a divided world.

We’re daily asked to choose sides. And there is no in between. You are either for or against.

It’s exhausting.

Remember that that kind of behavior has no place in the church. We are for Christ and one another.

We can disagree over many things and remain united, because it is the blood of Jesus that unites us!

Believer, at the core of who you are is Jesus. Let that be the most important part of your identity.

You’re a child of the King. Let’s act like it today.

Fitting in is hard.

We want to be a part of a community, but sometimes it feels like we’re only there for what we provide.

The church is meant to be a place where everyone belongs,
everyone has value,
everyone is gifted
and everyone is loved.

How can you make it so others in your church family feel loved when you gather with them?

Let’s welcome one another as Christ welcomes us, so when we tell of his excellence, people feel it on display in our community.

Who am I?

We all ask this question, and often look for the answers in messed up places.

If Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, then he has authority to tell us who we are.

Through him, you are a child of God,
a member of his family,
holding the keys to the kingdom.

Use those keys to invite others in!

God’s kingdom is for everyone.

JESUS IS ALIVE!

04/03/2021

Jesus died FOR our sin, so we could die TO our sin. Put it to death today! Believer, you are alive in Christ!

04/02/2021

Today we remember that the Light of the world swallowed our sin and the wrath it deserves. Let this truth humble you, and rest in it.

Speaking these words as he hung on the cross, Jesus fulfilled Psalm 22. While we grieve the death of our Savior, do not forget that this was the plan all along. Jesus is our representative, who suffered and died in our place. The Scriptures prophesied this long before it happened. God was still in complete control as Jesus was betrayed, wrongly convicted, and sentenced to death.

Jesus experienced this feeling of separation from God so we would not have to. As we look forward to celebrating his resurrection, let's praise him for all he did in our place.
