TODAY! 8/30 1-2pm First Parish in Concord

Bring your backpack or bag for a special blessing for the new school year! Everyone is welcome for fun, ice cream and connection. This event is nut-free and a dairy-free option will be available. We'll gather outside on the Terrace.

This will be a fun way to connect as we begin a new school year and season!

Bring a lawn chair, pack a picnic, and gather on the front lawn starting at 6:00 PM. From 7:00–8:30 PM, enjoy live music from the Abbey Roadsters, a fantastic Beatles cover band playing favorites you can dance to or simply sit back and enjoy. 💃🕺🎸

Local UU young adults (graduated high school or equivalent up to early 30’s) are invited to a picnic at Walden Pond. Please bring your own blanket or chair and food to share. The legacies of colonialism and the rise of the digital age have worked together to damage our sensory relationships with the Earth. So, this Sunday in church, we will work on waking up our senses to the world around us.

We will create an altar together using found natural objects—flowers, seashells, stones, leaves, pinecones, twigs, and more. You are invited to bring something from your yard or from a nearby park, woods, or stream for our altar-building ritual. As you gather your object, we invite you to spend a few moments with your senses: What do you notice? What do you see, hear, smell, or feel?

Are you a visitor, newcomer, or new member who is also new to Unitarian Universalism? Or, have you been UU for a while but are interested in a refresher on UU basics? Then, you are warmly invited to our upcoming UU 101 Class taking place after worship on April 26. Join Rev. Jenna and Rev. Amy in a conversation about our UU history and theology, what it means to be a covenantal (rather than a creedal) tradition, and what it means to be UU in these times.
