This Sunday December 3rd at 4:00 pm We will be hosting a gathering to capstone the study of Vivek Murthy's book Together in The Commons / Prayer Room

We’ve now entered a very busy season but I can’t think of a better way to center ourselves than to spend some time with others, connected by our study, connected by our church and certainly connected in friendship. Even if you have not read this book, please come as Rev. Casey Aldridge reviews the three areas of connectivity identified by Murthy through scripture, brief reflections and a creative activity.

Next Sunday October 29th!

Join us at 5:00 p.m. for a time of prayer for Israel and Gaza. Whether you choose to pray your own prayers silently or pray one of the available printed prayers, we know that praying in community is powerful. “Where two or three are gathered in my name I am in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20
The Commons will be open from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for you to spend a few minutes or the entire time praying for the people of Israel and Gaza.

The Commons has Space and Resources for Kids

If you haven't already introduced the children in your life to the Commons, hopefully you will be able to do so before summer winds down... or even during open hours this fall. There is a special area for young ones, and many of the stations may also appeal to them and provide chances to talk about growing and knowing God, especially through prayer.

Feel free to drop by on Wednesdays 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM or Saturdays 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

INTRODUCING: Thy Kingdom Come, on Lectio 365

24-7 Prayer and the Lectio 365 team are joining with Christians around the world for a global prayer initiative called Thy Kingdom Come

Between Ascension Day and Pentecost Sunday, Lectio 365 Morning Prayers will include wisdom from the Most Revd Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury. Together we will unite to ask God to empower us by His Spirit to be effective witnesses for Jesus.
