Praise in the Park

Praise in the Park Free annual music festival and community event. Todos Santos Plaza, Concord. Come experience the power of praise!

What began as a seed of an idea to bring Christian Teens together has become an all day annual event to promote ecumenical community building. With the principles of Faith, Love, and Service, our goal is to unite God's people in the purpose of changing lives and empowering local non-profits to do their very important work. Praise God for how this event has grown and how it is being used to advance the Kingdom.

Welcome to the home stretch of 2020 PITP friends. I sorely missed the event this year. Nothing makes me more joyful than seeing God’s people gathering together in unity and lifting God’s songs into the atmosphere. 2020 has been very difficult on so many, yet we are reminded to extol the Lord at all times; his praise should always be on our lips.
Psalm 34:1 (paraphrased). In that spirit I am Crowdsourcing a new lyric. This lyric is all about a grateful heart. It’s my hope that each PITP friend will submit one or two words that come to mind when you hear the phrase, “grateful heart”. My intent is to build a Word cloud and select the top 25 or 30 words that are repeated over and over to craft into a lyric that we can share at praise in the park the next time we meet... please post your words in the comment section. Don’t worry if your word has already been used, that’s the point, to find the most common words that we think of when we hear the phrase “grateful heart”. God bless all of you, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Be blessed, stay safe, and keep well! - Darryl
