What a beautiful Sunday at LOVE-A-Child!
Today our Christ Community Church family had the joy of spending our 5th Sunday Serve with the incredible women and children of LOVE-A-Child in Bay Point!

We shared a meal, bounced, played Gaga Ball, painted faces, played games, listened to music, laughed A LOT, and simply enjoyed being together.

But today wasn’t really about the activities.
It was about people. ❤️

New friendships. Shared tables. Kids playing together. Stories exchanged. Laughter everywhere. A community welcoming us in and allowing us to share life together for a few hours.

We are so grateful to LOVE-A-Child for the beautiful work they do every day and for allowing us to come alongside them.
This is exactly the kind of Sunday we want more of.

Worship is everywhere we are. And today, worship looked a whole lot like loving our neighbors. ❤️

Thank you, LOVE-A-Child. We can’t wait to come back!

Today, in lieu of our regular service, we are at Love-a-Child in Bay Point for . Join us from 11-1 for a block party, kids games, face paintings free household items, and Kona Ice!

What a gift it is to serve alongside an amazing church board!

This weekend, our Christ Community Church Board stepped away from the normal rhythms of life and ministry to pray, dream, listen, laugh, eat, learn, and discern together.

We spent time exploring the unique gifts God has placed within each of us through APEST, considering the needs and opportunities throughout our community, and dreaming about what it might look like for CCC to continue becoming a people of Authentic Worship, Beloved Family, and Missional Community.
We also invited other voices to the table, and I am so thankful for Dr. Albert Hung, Rev. Aaron Bolerjack, and Sylvia, who helped us listen, learn, and see beyond ourselves.

Our guiding words came from Acts 15:28:
“It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us…”
I left the weekend incredibly grateful. Grateful for leaders who love Jesus. Grateful for people willing to ask hard questions and dream big dreams. Grateful for laughter and friendship around the table. And grateful for a team willing to listen to one another and to the Holy Spirit as we seek what is next.

We don't know everything God has in store, but I am so thankful for the people I get to discern it with.

Christ Community Church, I love our team, and I am filled with hope for what God is doing among us and through us! ❤️
