We are excited to officially welcome Elias Broadway as our new Worship Leader at The Rock.
Last summer, after camp, I sent Elias a message. I had heard my children rave about Elias and how he invested in them — especially Jon-Jon — and I was deeply impressed. They came home talking about his leadership, his humility, and the way he served without needing the spotlight. I told him then that he didn’t just lead with his voice — he led with his life.
I never imagined that conversation would lead to this moment.
Elias is a college student at Central Piedmont Community College and a gifted multi-instrumentalist. He plays guitar, piano, drums, and bass. He also has a strong creative side, producing and editing video projects and recently releasing his debut album, Rinse, this past October.
But what matters most isn’t talent — it’s testimony.
Elias was saved at eight years old and baptized shortly after at Dulins Grove Advent Christian Church. Since then, he has pursued Christ faithfully, seeking to grow in spiritual maturity and use his gifts for God’s glory.
His heart for worship is simple and powerful: to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and free to authentically praise God for all He has done.
Church family, this is not just about music. It’s about leadership. It’s about example. It’s about a young man who has quietly and consistently chased after Christ — and now God has opened a door.
We are grateful. We are expectant. And we are excited for what the Lord will do through this next season of worship at The Rock.
Please join me in welcoming Elias Broadway.
