This Sunday, we looked at Philippians 2:1–11 and were reminded of the incredible example of Jesus.
While the world often encourages us to grasp for status, recognition, and control, Jesus showed a different way. Though He had every right to cling to His position, He humbled Himself, took on the nature of a servant, and became obedient even to death on a cross.
Because of Jesus, we don't have to live with clenched fists, constantly striving to secure our own worth. Jesus has freed us from grasping and given us the freedom to humbly trust Him.
As we follow Christ, may we grow in humility, unity, and a confidence that rests not in what we can gain, but in who He is.
