Christmas is a sacred reminder that God keeps His promises and meets us right where we are. On a quiet night in Bethlehem, heaven broke through, and hope was born for the world. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, we rejoice in the peace, joy, and salvation He brings to all who trust in Him. From our Pitts Baptist family to yours, may your Christmas be filled with worship, gratitude, and great joy. Merry Christmas. 🎄

Thank you to all who came to enjoy the Christmas party Sunday night! We are so thankful for our kitchen crew, tech, youth, kids, and our staff for helping the night be a success. Seeing our tables work together to create manger scenes was a huge blessing! Congrats to our contest winners, entry #4! We will have your prizes available for you on Sunday! You can pick them up at the welcome desk in the worship center! THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL THAT PARTICIPATED IN THE NIGHT! Have a very Merry Christmas!

On this Giving Tuesday, we’re reminded that generosity doesn’t stop at the walls of our church—it reaches across streets, states, and seas.

Our church is committed to both international and domestic missions. We support missionaries directly and also partner with the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) to help send and sustain those who are taking the gospel to the nations and to our own neighbors. Through these partnerships, we stand shoulder to shoulder with thousands of churches, helping plant new congregations, care for refugees, reach college campuses, serve the hurting, and share the hope of Jesus in places we may never personally step foot.

As a reminder, there will be no evening activities on campus on Wednesday, November 26 (with the exception of the Worship Praise Team). The Church Office and Child Development Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for you!

Moms In Prayer - This group meets every Monday through the school year at 12:00pm via Zoom. Contact Jayme at [email protected] for more information or to sign up.

Grandmothers in Prayer -.This group meets here on the campus of Pitts Baptist in the Library of Building B (former admin building) at 9:30am on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month during the school year. For more information, Contact Joyce Smith (980-521-9254) or Ruth Randall (704-886-8813).

Heavenly Father,�Today we remember September 11, 2001. We lift up the families who lost loved ones, the heroes who gave their lives in service, and the many who still carry the pain of that day. Thank You for the courage of first responders, the unity that brought our nation together, and the reminder that even in tragedy, Your presence is near.

Give us strength to live with compassion, courage, and hope — honoring their memory by serving others. Help us to never forget the cost of freedom and to walk humbly with You.
