West Cabarrus Church West Cabarrus Church exists to glorify God by making more and better disciples from neighborhoods to nations! SUNDAY SERVICES: 9 & 10:30AM

Earlier this summer our mission team headed to Brooklyn, New York to serve alongside two local churches.

Watch as Jeff White shares about his experience serving on the construction team, helping rebuild a gym wall at Park Slope Community Church. We love getting to hear firsthand how God works in and through our people when they step out in faith and go.

We are so proud of this team and grateful for everyone who prayed and gave to make this trip possible!

Do you ever feel too ordinary, too unqualified, or too tired for God to use you?

This Sunday in Acts 18 and 19, we saw that God delights to use all kinds of people for His glory. He uses those who are gifted yet teachable, like Apollos, who was eloquent and bold, yet humble enough to be pulled aside and taught. He uses those who are available and hospitable, like Priscilla and Aquila, who had no pulpit, just a home, a job, and a willingness to say yes. And He uses those who are weak and weary but who persevere, like Paul, who after walking close to 3,000 miles described himself as coming in “weakness and in fear and much trembling,” and yet God changed lives through him.

Whatever you have, whether it’s a gift, a house, or only the strength to keep going, God can use it. And it all points back to Jesus, who endured the cross for us and now invites us to His table.

May we be a church that lives our one life for what will last, and that stays available to the God who is worthy of every second.

Missions Focus Week was such a gift to our church family. 🌍

What a week it was. Our church gathered together to pray for our missionaries and the nations, our staff spent intentional time with missionaries and local mission organizations, and we got to end the week in a beautiful way, gathering with young adults and college students Sunday evening to worship together.

And on Saturday night, we had the joy of sitting around the table at our Missions Focus Dinner, celebrating what God is doing around the world and the people He has called to go.

We are so grateful to be a church that prays, gives, and goes. From our neighborhood to the nations, God is at work and we are thankful to be a small part of it. 🙏

What if following Jesus means giving Him your “unqualified yes” before you know all the details?

In Acts 18, Paul faced uncertainty, opposition, fear, and changing plans, but he kept going because he knew the gospel was true and Jesus had called him to be His witness. God reminded him, “Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you.”

God may call us to go across the world, or He may simply call us to move toward the person next door. Either way, the question is the same: Are we ready to say yes?

This week, may we live ready to follow wherever God leads, trusting that His presence is enough for whatever He asks us to do.

We are so grateful to partner with Aaron and Emily Peters, who are faithfully serving in Boston, Massachusetts alongside City on a Hill Church in Brighton.

Take a few minutes to watch and hear about the work God is doing through them in the city of Boston. And as you do, would you join us in praying for Aaron, Emily, and the people they are reaching with the gospel?

This week is Missions Focus Week at West Cabarrus Church! 🌍🙏

Every day this week, a new prayer point video will go live on our website featuring our very own missionaries from around the world. Each video will give you a glimpse into what God is doing through them and specific ways you can pray.

We believe that prayer is one of the most powerful things we can do for the spread of the gospel, from our neighborhood to the nations. So would you join us in praying this week?

Head to the link in our bio to watch today's video and pray alongside us. New videos go live every day through Sunday!
