Our Boston mission team is back home and what a week it was!

Our team spent the week serving alongside City on a Hill Church in Brighton, jumping in wherever they were needed. They helped set up and tear down on Sunday morning, connected with and encouraged local believers, took to the streets for evangelism, inviting people in the neighborhood to come check out City on a Hill Brighton, and finished the week by helping college students move into their dorms on campus.

We are so proud of this team and grateful for every person who prayed for them and made this trip possible. Our Boston mission team is back home and what a week it was!

In Acts 15, the early church faced an important question: How are we saved?

The answer was clear: not by what we do, but by what Jesus has already done.

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Salvation is not something we achieve, it’s something we receive as a gift through Jesus.

Because of that grace, we can lay down the burden of trying to prove ourselves, rest in the finished work of Christ, and pursue unity with one another for the sake of the gospel.

Collision had a blast at Color War this past week! 🎨🎉

We love nights like these, but what makes Collision special goes far beyond the fun. Every Sunday at 5:30PM, our students dig into Scripture together, grow in community through small groups, and are surrounded by leaders who are committed to investing in and walking alongside them.

Join us in praying for our Boston mission team as they head out that way this weekend!

1. Pray for open hearts among college students. Ask God to use our team as they come alongside students who are moving into the dorms and stepping into a brand new season of life, away from home, searching for community and purpose, and that gospel conversations would flow naturally and bear lasting fruit.

2. Pray for boldness and unity for our team. Ask God to knit our college students together in heart and purpose as they serve, and that they would step out in confidence to share the good news of Jesus without fear or hesitation.

3. Pray for Aaron and Emily Peters and City on a Hill Church. Ask God to encourage and strengthen this church as they faithfully minister to the college community in Boston, and that this trip would be a blessing to them as they continue to live out their calling to gospel, community, and mission.

What does it look like to help the gospel spread?

Endure. Be intentional. Strengthen the church.

Acts 14 reminds us that following Jesus won’t always be easy. Paul and Barnabas faced opposition, unexpected detours, and persecution, but they continued to share the good news of Jesus.

This week, may we endure when it’s difficult, listen well, love others intentionally, and faithfully share the hope we’ve found in Jesus.
